Besides commercial and strategic advice, Solved also conducts research work. 

One example of this is the Solved Property Managers Survey. Every year, we work with the Technical University of Eindhoven (TU/e) to monitor the quality of property management, with service costs as an important priority. 

During lease negotiations, service costs are often largely overlooked, although these can represent a significant cost item.

For many users, inexplicably high service charges are a considerable source of irritation. Ambiguities in the lease, incorrect calculations or vague methods of apportioning costs can be to blame for this.
